📋 Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely costing of job cards and warranty claims, all in line with Mercedes-Benz SA audit standards and company policy. Tasks include:
🔧 Job Card & Invoicing Accuracy:

Confirm all job card details are complete (account numbers, vehicle info, credit limits, etc.).

Invoice job cards correctly and timeously.
-
Cost labour hours accurately using the flat rate manual.
-
Include all relevant charges: sublet work, oil, consumables, and parts.
📊 Administration & Compliance:
-
Ensure all job card documentation is authorized and attached (repair orders, diagnosis reports, etc.).

File all job cards properly.
-
Ensure all technician records, parts requisitions, and time logs are checked and signed.
-
Monitor and report on technical database updates and WIP (Work In Progress).
⚙️ Warranty and Estimating:

Process warranty claims accurately and on time.
-
Handle customer estimates efficiently and in compliance with processes.
-
Ensure high-quality costing to minimize disputes and enhance customer satisfaction.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience
✅ Minimum Requirements:
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
Computer literacy (Kerridge system experience essential)
-
At least 3 years’ experience in a Costing & Warranty Clerk role
-
Currently working in the Mercedes-Benz environment is preferred
