Role Overview
Amedeo College seeks an experienced and passionate Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) Teacher to join its high school team in 2026. The ideal candidate will be innovative, empathetic, and adaptable, with a strong commitment to meeting the diverse learning needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver multisensory and hands-on lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

Participate in after-school clubs, sport, and aftercare programmes.

Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Senior Phase Education (specialising in Afrikaans FAL).

Experience with Cambridge or IEB curricula advantageous.

Experience working with students requiring one-on-one or specialised support beneficial.

SACE registration (mandatory).

Police clearance and own reliable transport required.

Computer literacy and strong communication skills.

Valid First Aid certification preferred.
Minimum Experience
-
3–4 years teaching experience in the Senior Phase (Cambridge or IEB environment preferred).
