Marist Brothers Linmeyer invites applications for a permanent Afrikaans First Additional Language teaching position (Grades 8–12), commencing January 2026.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must:

Hold a Bachelor of Education and/or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
-
Be registered with SACE
-
Have at least five years’ teaching experience
-
Have IEB curriculum experience (Matric marking experience is advantageous)

Be up to date with educational trends and best practices

Be skilled in the use of ICT for teaching and administration

Major Responsibilities:

Fulfil all responsibilities and duties of a high school teacher

Set an example of professional conduct and deliver quality instruction

Understand and apply IEB subject assessment guidelines

Stay current with developments in education and language teaching
