Assumption Convent School seeks to appoint a highly motivated and passionate individual to the position of Afrikaans Teacher – High School.
The ideal candidate will:

Be passionate about Afrikaans and innovative in their approach to teaching.

Currently teach Grade 12 Afrikaans.

Have experience teaching the IEB Afrikaans curriculum at senior level.

Preferably be an IEB Matric marker or sub-examiner.

Possess excellent organisational and communication skills.

Embrace the use of technology, including generative AI, to enhance learning.

Be fully involved in the life of the school, including co-curricular activities.

Be registered with SACE.

Demonstrate an ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Manage academic demands and pressure with confidence.

Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
