Position: Aftercare / Aftercare Supervisor
Start Date: 12 January 2026
Cornwall Hill College invites applications for the position of Aftercare / Aftercare Supervisor. This role involves overseeing approximately 350 learners in a vibrant and nurturing aftercare environment. The successful candidate will provide supervision, academic support, and ensure the safety and well-being of all children attending the aftercare programme.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise learners attending aftercare daily.

Maintain an accurate attendance register of children.

Oversee lunchtime activities and ensure smooth transitions between sessions.

Assist learners during homework sessions.
-
Monitor and safeguard children during co-curricular programmes.

Communicate effectively with parents and learners enrolled in aftercare.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
-
South African citizen.
-
Previous experience working with children aged 3–10 years.

Preference for candidates studying towards a degree in Education or a related field.

Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Must possess strong organizational and people skills.

Energetic, reliable, and able to work under pressure.

Professional attitude, sound work ethic, and no criminal record.
