Programme Overview

Sappi is offering an exciting Apprentice Training Programme in Engineering for driven and self-motivated individuals with strong technical ability. This 4-year programme provides both institutional and workplace-based training to qualify as an artisan.

What Sappi Offers

  • Fixed-term contract with a competitive apprentice wage

  • Accredited training covering all requirements to qualify as an artisan

  • Workplace experiential training under the guidance of engineering foremen and qualified artisans

  • Additional training to prepare you for the workplace

  • Trade test preparation and trade test examination

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Sciences OR

  • Full N3 with passes in Mathematics and Engineering Science
