Job Overview:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a qualified Beauty Therapist for their Benmore store. As part of the Beauty division, your primary responsibilities will include offering a variety of skincare and body treatments in the Dis-Chem Beauty Salons. This role requires you to build strong client relationships while delivering top-quality beauty services.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service in the salon

Perform facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures according to Dis-Chem’s standards

Report customer feedback (queries, complaints, compliments)

Keep up-to-date with new products and treatment techniques
-
Manage stock levels based on salon needs
-
Ensure equipment is clean and functional at all times
Minimum Requirements:
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
2-year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy
-
12 months of technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon
-
Computer literate and sound numerical skills

Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous:
-
3-year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy
-
3 years of technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon
-
Knowledge of laser treatments (soft laser, bio-magnetic, microdermabrasion, etc.)

Bilingual
Competencies Required:

General knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and contradictions for skin/body treatments

Strong command of English (both written and oral)

Team player with good customer relations

Deadline and target-driven mindset
Special Conditions of Employment:

Willing and able to work retail hours

Able to travel to and from the store

Physically fit to perform massage, facials, and body treatments

Must be a South African citizen
