Job Overview:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for Beauty Therapists to join their beauty salons in Pretoria. As a Beauty Therapist, you will be responsible for offering skincare and body treatments, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining excellent client relations.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide an exceptional salon experience for customers
-
Perform facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures in line with Dis-Chem standards

Respond to and provide feedback on customer queries, complaints, and compliments
-
Stay updated with new products and treatment techniques
-
Manage stock levels based on salon requirements
-
Ensure all salon equipment is operational and sanitary
Minimum Requirements:
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
2-year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy
-
12 months of practical experience in a professional beauty salon
-
Computer literate and sound numerical skills
-
Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous:
-
3-year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy
-
3 years of practical experience in a professional beauty salon
-
Knowledge of laser treatments, microdermabrasion, slimming treatments, or spray tan

Bilingual abilities
Competencies Required:

General knowledge of skin anatomy and contraindications for treatments

Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)

Ability to work as a team player and maintain good customer relations

Deadline and target-driven mindset
Special Conditions of Employment:

Physically fit to perform massage, facials, and body treatments

South African citizen or valid work permit
