Job Purpose:
Bidvest International Logistics is offering an opportunity for unemployed youth to join their YES Programme for 2025. This initiative, in partnership with the government, aims to alleviate unemployment among youth in South Africa by providing hands-on work experience and skill development within the Logistics industry.
As a leading global logistics company, Bidvest International Logistics offers end-to-end services in air, sea, and road transport, warehousing, and customs brokerage. This opportunity will help youth develop a range of skills while gaining industry experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
To qualify for the YES Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 senior certificate or equivalent

South African citizen
-
Age between 18 and 34 years
-
Must align with the Employment Equity (EE) requirements of the programme

Unemployed and not currently enrolled in academic studies for 2024
-
Code 08 Driver’s License required
-
Commitment to work full-time for 12 months

Must not have participated in the YES Programme with any company before

Avid interest in the Transport and Logistics industry
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the YES Programme, participants will:

Complete 25 modules of both theoretical and practical components

Theoretical learning will be done on the YES Platform, and a portfolio of evidence will be required for submission at the end of the programme
