Role Overview

The Junior Prep Teacher will nurture and inspire learners in Grades 0–2, fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and holistic development. The role also includes mentoring intern teachers and contributing to the broader life of the school.


Key Duties

  • Teach Grade 0–2 (depending on experience) and manage all classroom responsibilities.

  • Mentor, support, and develop intern teachers.

  • Participate actively in extracurricular activities.

  • Promote and model the school’s attributes and values.

  • Teach according to St Peter’s Prep Best Practice pedagogy.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant Foundation Phase Degree.

  • At least 5 years’ full-time teaching experience in Foundation Phase.

  • SACE Registration.
