🌟 About the Role
SAB is looking for a Brewing Team Leader to lead shift teams and ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiency are achieved.
This role combines leadership, technical knowledge, and problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Operations & Maintenance
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed during shifts
- Support repairs and escalate technical issues when needed
- Work closely with Brewing Process Artisans and Operators
🧪 Quality Control
- Ensure all quality standards and checks are followed
- Analyse quality trends and resolve issues
- Lead problem-solving initiatives when needed
👥 Team Leadership
- Lead daily shift meetings and performance reviews
- Assign tasks and track accountability
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members
📊 Performance & Reporting
- Monitor production performance and targets
- Manage shift handovers and communication
- Identify improvement and waste reduction opportunities
🧠 Requirements
✔️ Degree in:
- Chemical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Biological Sciences
✔️ Brewing Diploma (AME / IBD) – Advantage
✔️ Brewing Technical Trainee Programme – Advantage
