Business Studies & Accounting Educator (Full-time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • A strong understanding of educational standards, aligning curriculum with IEB standards and school assessment policies.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in teaching and learning.

  • Perform duties expected of a Business Studies & Accounting educator.

  • Collaborate openly and effectively with colleagues.

  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

  • Work with online Learner Management Systems (Google Classroom, EdAdmin).

  • Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other pertinent information.

  • Provide individualized support and instruction to students, assisting them with academic needs.

  • Motivate students and grow the popularity of Business Studies & Accounting.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Adherence to the Christian ethos of the school.

  • Relevant qualifications in teaching Business Studies & Accounting.

  • SACE registered.

  • At least 2 years’ experience (preferably in an IEB school).

  • Criminal and Sexual Offender’s Clearance Certificate.

  • Excellent collaboration skills.

  • Creative approach to teaching, using innovative pedagogies.

  • Willingness to participate in the school’s extracurricular program.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexible and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to adhere to the school’s code of conduct.
