Job Summary
Southcity Christian Schools (Independent IEB, co-educational, Grade 000–12) seeks a qualified Business Studies Teacher for Grades 10–12. The successful candidate will support academic excellence, Christian values, and holistic learner development in a collaborative, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Business Studies to Grades 10–12 and prepare learners for IEB examinations

Contribute to the academic, spiritual, and co-curricular life of the school

Maintain high standards of discipline and classroom management

Engage in professional development and collaborative planning with colleagues

Communicate effectively with parents and learners regarding academic progress
Minimum Requirements
-
South African citizen
-
Bachelor’s degree in Education (or relevant field with PGCE)

Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience in the FET Phase
-
Full SACE registration
-
Valid police clearance certificate
-
Experience with the IEB curriculum preferred

Energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about inspiring young learners

Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
