What the Bursary Covers
Capitec provides full financial support, including:

Note: Bursaries are awarded for 1 academic year, renewable based on academic performance, student engagement, and budget availability.
Work-Back Obligation
Graduates will be required to work at Capitec for the same duration as the bursary funding received. This allows recipients to gain practical workplace experience and career readiness.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be South African citizens
-
Be in Matric (2025) or have already completed Matric
-
Intend to study full-time toward a Bachelor’s or Honours Degree (NQF 7 or higher)
-
Be registered at a DHET/CHE recognised university or private college
-
Have achieved at least a 65% average in Matric
-
If currently studying, maintain a minimum 65% average in 2024 and 2025
🚫 Not eligible: N4–N6, Higher Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Master’s, Doctoral, UNISA, TVET, or community colleges
✅ Preference given to:

Students completing their qualification within minimum time

Candidates meeting employment equity and transformation goals
