Broadacres Academy High School, situated in Chartwell, offers education to Grade 7–12 students under the auspices of the IEB. We are looking for a CAT and Coding and Robotics Educator to join our dynamic and innovative team.
Broadacres Academy has a Constructivist Learning approach at its foundation, encouraging a love of learning in students. The High School aims to prepare students for the world of work by allowing them to thrive in all aspects of a modern educational space.
Applicants should therefore have high energy and commitment, be student-centered, and be particularly experienced in dealing with young people from Grades 7 to 12. Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work within a collaborative team environment are essential.

Minimum Requirements:
-
A recognized degree and/or a 4-year professional teaching qualification
-
3–5 years’ experience and training in working with the Senior and FET phases
-
3–5 years’ experience with the IEB curriculum and SAGS
-
Full SACE registration
-
Relevant experience in the subject field (preferably to Grade 12 level)

Experience in creating varied and innovative assessments under IEB guidelines
-
Working knowledge of Constructivist teaching practices
-
Flexibility and innovative thinking in teaching style
Preferred Qualities:
-
Experience as an IEB marker, moderator, and/or assessor
-
Passion for interdisciplinary integration of subjects within a Constructivist approach
-
Proficiency in integrating ICT skills into classroom and collaborative learning
-
Willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities (sport, cultural or administrative)
