Job Summary
Broadacres Academy High School (Grades 7–12, IEB) seeks a high-energy, student-centered Educator for CAT, Coding & Robotics, and Junior Mathematics. The school follows a Constructivist Learning approach, fostering a love of learning and preparing students for academic, personal, and professional success.
Minimum Requirements
-
Recognized degree and/or 4-year professional teaching qualification
-
3–5 years’ experience teaching Senior and FET phases
-
3–5 years’ experience in the IEB curriculum and SAGS
-
Full SACE registration
-
Prior experience teaching the relevant subjects to Grade 12 level
-
Ability to create varied and innovative assessments (IEB-aligned)
-
Working knowledge of Constructivist practice
-
Flexible, adaptable, and creative teaching style
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience as an IEB marker, moderator, or assessor
-
Passion for interdisciplinary Constructivist teaching
-
Knowledge of ICT integration in classroom and collaborative spaces
-
Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities (sport, cultural, administrative)
