The City of Johannesburg invites unemployed youth from Johannesburg communities to apply for the Finance Internship Programme 2025.
Contract Duration: 18 months
Stipend: R10 109.86 per month (basic salary, no benefits)
Internship Overview
This programme provides on-the-job exposure to qualifying students who need practical experience to complete their studies or as part of career development. The internship is open to candidates who have never participated in an internship programme before (unless the previous internship was unrelated to their course of study).
Minimum Requirements

Matric/Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
-
National Diploma in Financial Administration or Accounting (NQF level 6) – minimum 360 credits

Basic MS Office Suite skills
-
English language proficiency (reading and writing)

Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg
