We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee operations in the healthcare sector in Durbanville, Western Cape. The successful candidate will supervise daily operations, maintain high-quality standards in line with hospital-specific SLAs, and provide effective leadership to staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operations and Service Delivery

Ensure work schedules/job cards are in place and relevant to site.

Maintain consistently high service standards with regular inspections.

Ensure staff are correctly dressed and display name badges.

Promote company image and professionalism at all times.

Adhere to cleaning methodologies in line with company policies and legislation.

Manage company assets with monthly spot checks on high-value items.

Ensure equipment is maintained, repaired, and serviced as required.

Conduct daily checks and follow-ups.

Report maintenance and safety concerns daily.
Communication

Respond promptly to management requests and take necessary actions.

Keep line management regularly updated on relevant issues.
Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act requirements.

Uphold site-specific safety and quality standards.
General

Promote high morale and motivation through effective communication.

Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years cleaning supervisory experience in healthcare or hospitality.

Experience with health and safety standards and management.
