Role Overview

The Communications Manager leads strategic communication and storytelling for the school, translating its vibrancy into engaging narratives across digital, print, and event-based channels. This role balances creative content creation with strategic brand management and stakeholder engagement.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the school-wide communications strategy with a cohesive brand voice

  • Manage, create, and curate content for publications, newsletters, video scripts, the website, and digital platforms

  • Drive social media engagement and visibility

  • Oversee editing, proofreading, and quality control for all communications

  • Conceptualise, develop, and deliver integrated marketing and communication campaigns

  • Support school events, Advancement initiatives, and stakeholder engagement projects

  • Collaborate with the Advancement team and cross-functional departments for alignment

  • Manage project timelines, processes, and workflows within the Advancement Office


Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in communications, preferably in education or complex organisations

  • Strong writing, editing, and copywriting skills

  • Competence in digital communication tools, CMS, social media platforms, and visual storytelling

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Creative, strategic thinker with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
