Purpose of the Job:
The Consultant: Pre-Assessment is responsible for the pre-assessment of prospective claims applications, ensuring compliance with RAF processes and regulations before lodgment.
Key Performance Areas:

Conduct pre-assessment of claims applications and supporting documents

Determine claim benefits and compliance according to defined rules
-
Identify duplicate or linked claims
-
Apply prescription rules and verify mortality with Home Affairs
-
Communicate assessment outcomes to claimants
-
Maintain and implement quality assurance processes
-
Handle documentation, correspondence, and administrative duties
-
Prepare reports, memos, and process improvement documentation
-
Manage stakeholder communication and provide updates on queries
Minimum Requirements:
🎓 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field
💼 Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the claims environment
