Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Contact Center Agent to manage customer interactions, including orders, inquiries, complaints, and troubleshooting. This role reports to the Contact Center Team Leader and plays a critical role in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls

  • Manage orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to minimum order requirements

  • Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly

  • Forward credit-held orders to Accounts Receivable and advise buyers on account status

  • Maintain strong communication with depots to ensure service levels are met

  • Support administration and documentation related to customer service


Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in a contact center (inbound/outbound)

Education & Certifications:

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)

  • Call Center certification (advantageous)

Skills & Competencies:

  • FMCG industry experience (advantageous)

  • Computer literate (MS Office)

  • Knowledge of SAP
