Position Overview
Michael Oak Waldorf School is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Craft and Art Support Teacher to support the Art Department for learners from Grade 8 to matric. The role aligns with CAPS curriculum requirements while embracing the experiential Waldorf pedagogy.
Requirements & Skills

Proven experience teaching art and at least one of the following: sewing, textile work, basketry, hand weaving on a loom, bookbinding, leatherwork, or other crafting skills

Relevant academic and professional teaching qualifications

Current SACE registration is mandatory

Interest in Waldorf pedagogy and commitment to integrating its principles

Caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated to students’ growth

Ability to work collaboratively with staff, learners, and parents

Willingness to actively contribute to the collective running of the high school
