About the Position

St Gregory Primary School is seeking a reliable and skilled Custodian / Groundsman to maintain school facilities and grounds. The role involves general maintenance, supervising cleaning staff, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-kept environment for learners and staff.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s Licence (PDP advantageous)
Minimum Matric / Grade 12
Traceable work references
Relevant experience in general maintenance and groundskeeping
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
Police clearance

Key Duties

Daily maintenance and repair work (plumbing, electrical, painting, fixing windows, replacing light fittings, etc.)
Supervising cleaning staff to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Maintaining school grounds, gardens, and facilities
Assisting with errands and school-related tasks as required
