Key Purpose Statement
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, processing, and analyzing data related to academic performance. This will support the implementation of the Brand academic strategy, improve cohort throughput, and identify gaps in student achievement. The role also involves training academic staff in the use of data systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and process learning and teaching data to support academic decision-making and implement the Brand academic strategy.

Data Stewardship: Ensure the integrity of all academic data related to the Brand.

Dashboard Development: Create standard dashboards to track key academic KPIs across campuses, phases, subjects, and grades.

Action Plans: Analyze academic data from various platforms (AdvLearn, LMS, academic apps) to identify improvement areas. Develop and monitor action plans for academic improvement.

Research and Innovation: Support the development of the Brand’s mid-term academic plan by conducting research and developing innovation milestones.

Training and Support: Provide data analysis support for research initiatives, train academic staff on systems and procedures, and develop how-to guides and training materials.

Platform Monitoring: Monitor usage of academic platforms, assess alignment with intended goals, and identify training needs.
Competencies

Skills Requirements:

Strong strategic insights and critical thinking.

Proficient in data tools such as SQL, Excel, R/Python, PowerBI.

Experience in data mining, machine learning, data visualization, and data modeling.

Ability to develop and deliver training for academic staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Honours degree in the above-mentioned fields is advantageous.

Power BI experience is mandatory.

Driver’s license is required.
Experience
-
3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
