Overview:
Our client is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join their team based in Boksburg for a fixed-term internship. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop critical data analysis skills. The ideal candidate will support senior analysts in gathering, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis, while also contributing to the creation of insightful reports and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis, ensuring high-quality data for decision-making.

Reporting & Visualization: Use tools such as SQL, Excel, QlikView, and Power BI to create insightful reports and dashboards that aid in business decision-making.

Data Validation: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data, and maintain proper documentation of processes.

Trend Analysis: Assist in identifying trends, insights, and opportunities within the data to inform business strategies.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven support for ongoing projects.

Process Improvement: Support senior analysts in streamlining data processes and improving reporting methods.
Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Completed Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Excel.

Basic knowledge of SQL.

Familiarity with Power BI, QlikView, or similar data visualization tools.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability with a keen attention to detail.

Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, able to present data in an understandable way.

Passion & Learning: Eagerness to learn, with a passion for problem-solving in a data-driven environment.

Desirable: Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
