Job Purpose
The Data Capturer will be responsible for accurately capturing, inputting, and managing data into relevant databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting operational and continuous reporting needs of the organization. The role also includes verifying data accuracy before and after entry.
Key Responsibilities

Data Entry: Accurately capture and input data from source documents into databases, spreadsheets, or software applications.

Data Integrity Checks: Perform routine checks for data accuracy, correcting any errors as necessary.

Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain files and records, both electronic and physical, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.

Support Data Collection: Assist in gathering data from various departments as needed.

Reporting: Generate basic reports as required by the business.

Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality and security of all data.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to streamline data capturing processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications

Education:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12).

A certificate or diploma in data management, office administration, or a related field is advantageous.

Experience:

1–2 years of experience in a data entry or administrative role.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience with data entry software.

MS Power BI experience is advantageous.
