REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)

  • Experience: No experience required

  • Driver’s License: Advantageous

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Clerical duties, data capture, and administrative principles.

    • Knowledge of legal framework governing the Public Service.

    • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel (functions, autofill, formulas, formatting, sort & filter), PowerPoint, Outlook.

    • Batho Pele Principles, communication (verbal & written), interpersonal skills, time management, problem solving, planning, customer service, self-management, teamwork, confidentiality, flexibility, creativity, assertiveness, ambitious and time-bound.


DUTIES:

  1. Data Capturing Service:

    • Capture data from records into databases, tables, and spreadsheets.

    • Verify missing data and errors.

    • Review, validate, and back up data regularly.

    • Provide information to relevant components and capture applications on master lists.

  2. Personnel Suitability Verification:

    • Capture fingerprints for candidates and upload to system.

    • Conduct criminal, citizenship, reference, and qualification checks.

    • Consolidate verified data and report negative outcomes for further investigation.

  3. Administrative Support Services:

    • Safekeeping of all recruitment and selection documents.

    • Maintain accurate records, open office files, and archive old applications.

    • Provide secretariat support to meetings and manage stationery supplies.

  4. Collate, Analyze, and Interpret Statistics:

    • Apply policies and guidelines for data interpretation.

    • Analyze trends and patterns.

    • Produce practical, accurate, and reliable reports.
