Programme Overview

The Department of Tourism invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the 2026–2028 Internship Programme, a 24-month paid internship providing workplace experience in Pretoria.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R7 450.58 and gain exposure in ICT, HR, finance, governance, policy development, communications, and administrative functions.

This internship supports the Department’s commitment to developing skilled young professionals for the tourism sector and public service.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

Be unemployed South African graduates/postgraduates
Be 35 years or younger
Have a qualification aligned with one of the listed internship fields
Not have participated in a public service internship before
