Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12/NQF level 4.

Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Stakeholder Relations Management, or a related qualification (NQF level 7).
-
7 – 9 years’ experience in the related field, with at least 4 years in a line management position or equivalent experience leading/coordinating a team.
Primary Function:
Support the Marketing function in executing the marketing plan/strategy across various platforms. This role focuses on short-, medium-, and long-term marketing objectives while building the City’s brand image and equity.
Key Performance Areas:

Originate/produce, deliver, and implement integrated corporate marketing services in alignment with the strategy, communications, marketing, and events activities.

Lead market research efforts to evaluate the viability of existing products/services.

Create commercially viable, strategic partnerships and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
-
Manage brand reputation and maintain the City’s corporate identity.
-
Provide leadership and guide the sub-directorate’s personnel to ensure high productivity and performance.
-
Oversee financial, risk, compliance, and supply chain management within the sub-directorate.
-
Define immediate, short-, and long-term marketing objectives and plans for corporate marketing services.

Proficient in MS Office Packages (Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook).
