Job Description:
The successful applicant will, inter alia, be required to:
-
Develop and implement programmes that focus on staff and student wellness
-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with all of our stakeholders
-
Drive the Kyalami Schools’ Transformation, Diversity and Inclusion (TDI) strategy, in collaboration with our Group Head of Organisational Culture
-
Teach the College’s unique UBUNTU Curriculum to Gr 8 – 11 students
-
Oversee and manage the College’s International Exchange Programme
-
Oversee and manage all aspects of counselling and support for students
-
Oversee and manage student leadership programmes and structures
-
Oversee and manage the pastoral care team (Grade Tutors)
Requirements:
-
Appropriate university degree and professional qualification
-
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management position within the secondary schooling environment
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Excellent planning, organizational, and reporting skills
-
Future-orientated approach to adolescent development and well-being
-
Willingness to participate fully in the life of the College and in extra-mural activities
-
Participate in the Academic/Co-curricular timetable according to qualifications and preference
-
SACE registration
