Abbotts High School is looking for a passionate and qualified Dramatic Arts Teacher for the FET phase (Grades 8-12), who will be responsible for delivering high-quality education that motivates and engages students in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and implement instructional programs for high school students.

Inspire, motivate, and challenge students to reach their academic potential and prepare them for life after graduation.

Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and strong character in all aspects of the role.

Develop and maintain constructive partnerships with colleagues, parents, guardians, and community members.

Communicate and collaborate positively and respectfully with the learning community.

Be accountable for academic delivery, assessment, reporting, student behaviour management, and administration.

Act as a school brand ambassador and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
A degree (NQF level 7) and PGCE or B.Ed. (FET) with specialization in Dramatic Arts.

SACE certification and police clearance are required.
-
2-5 years of teaching experience.

2-5 years of teaching experience in Dramatic Arts.
-
Computer and digital literacy.
-
First Aid certification is an advantage.
