Job Description
The ADvTECH Schools Division is a leader in private education in South Africa and is dedicated to sustainable human capacity development. The role of Driver and Maintenance Worker at Crawford International Sandton College is an entry-level position that supports the daily operations of the school with a focus on transportation, maintenance, and general support tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Perform duties as a Driver, including transportation of students and staff.

General cleaning and housekeeping of vehicles (e.g., cleaning buses, filling up with fuel, conducting daily vehicle checks).

Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles as needed.

Support the school in miscellaneous tasks as required.

Be punctual and responsible for vehicle and student safety during transportation.
Competencies Required

Excellent eye sight (important for safe driving).

Punctuality is essential.

Helpful, energetic, responsible, and reliable attitude.

Willingness to work overtime when required.

Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.

Enthusiastic, trustworthy, and able to work well within a team environment.
Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.

Valid Driver’s Licence (Code EB) and valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).

Fluency in English.
Experience
-
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar position (preferably within an educational environment or similar setting).
