Job Description:
Phyllis Jowell School is a co-educational Jewish school offering a dual curriculum of Jewish and General subjects. The Pre-Primary School caters to small classes from 4 months to 6 years. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Playgroup Teacher to join our team.
Essential Qualities and Skills:

A nurturing and warm personality with a passion for children and a solid understanding of Early Childhood Development (ECD)

Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player

Well-organized with strong record-keeping, report writing, and observational skills

Ability to communicate effectively with parents

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Collaborative attitude, working closely with the Kodesh (Jewish Studies) teacher, Assistant teachers, and other Preschool educators

Computer literacy with the ability to integrate IT into the classroom

Creative, innovative, and capable of developing and maintaining exciting ECD programs

Excellent verbal and written English skills

A minimum of three years’ teaching experience, with an ECD NQF Level 5 qualification or an ECD Diploma/Degree

Open to implementing progressive educational philosophy and committed to personal professional growth

Knowledge of Judaism and its customs would be beneficial

SACE registration
-
Clearances: Police, Sexual Offences, and Child Protection
