Position Overview:
Zig Zag Early Learning School is seeking a Teacher’s Assistant for their Early Childhood Development (ECD) phase. The successful candidate will support the lead teacher in the classroom and contribute to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities and learning experiences.

Support the development and implementation of age-appropriate educational activities.
-
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

Work closely with individual students to provide additional support as needed.

Help manage classroom behavior and assist with group activities.
-
Ensure the wellbeing and safety of the children under your care.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in early childhood development or teaching assistance.
-
A passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with young children, parents, and staff.

Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm to engage children in learning and play.
-
SACE registration (if applicable).
-
Clearance Certificates (Sexual Offender’s and Police Clearance) may be required.
