Position Overview:
Zig Zag Early Learning School is seeking a Teacher’s Assistant for their Early Childhood Development (ECD) phase. The successful candidate will support the lead teacher in the classroom and contribute to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities and learning experiences.

  • Support the development and implementation of age-appropriate educational activities.

  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

  • Work closely with individual students to provide additional support as needed.

  • Help manage classroom behavior and assist with group activities.

  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of the children under your care.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in early childhood development or teaching assistance.

  • A passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with young children, parents, and staff.

  • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm to engage children in learning and play.

  • SACE registration (if applicable).

  • Clearance Certificates (Sexual Offender’s and Police Clearance) may be required.
