About the Internship
Emfuleni Local Municipality is offering internship opportunities for unemployed South African graduates through its Financial Services Cluster, which includes the Budget Office, Risk Management, and Internal Audit.
This initiative forms part of the Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMP), aimed at building capacity and providing hands-on experience in public financial management.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:

Hold a National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:

Accounting

Finance
-
Auditing
-
Economics
-
Risk Management

Have digital literacy skills (an advantage)

Be between the ages of 18 and 35
-
Be unemployed and have not previously participated in a learnership or internship
Key Skills & Attributes

Basic computer literacy

Strong time management skills

Understanding of digital tools and systems

Willingness to learn in a structured work environment
What to Expect
