Role Purpose

The Employee Engagement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing employee engagement initiatives, internal communication campaigns, and events that enhance the overall employee experience. The role provides essential administrative and operational support to the Employee Engagement team, ensuring effective communication, event planning, and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.


Requirements

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communications would be ideal

  • Two years of relevant experience related to the role

  • Advantageous experience in copywriting for various platforms

  • Basic design skills using tools like Adobe are an advantage

  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)


Duties & Responsibilities

1. Internal Communication

  • Provide administrative support across all internal communication

  • Manage content and timelines for mailers and communications

  • Monitor and manage internal communication mailboxes and responses

  • Manage internal sites and upload content

  • Assist in content creation, proofing, and editing for various mediums

  • Support campaigns, employee activations, and print collateral

  • Maintain communication templates and distribution lists

  • Generate personalized communication pieces like CEO welcome messages and GRITx certificates

  • Prepare leadership quotes for well-being campaigns

2. Events

  • Coordinate events including venue bookings, service provider liaison, catering, and branding

  • Provide on-site event support

  • Create event marketing materials

  • Assist in planning and execution of webinars and other internal events

  • Ensure proper feedback collection through post-event evaluations

3. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Human Capital team members

4. General Support

  • Be present at all site activations

  • Assist with collateral placement, material delivery, and gift handling

  • Manage competitions and campaign-related media

  • Maintain a central HC calendar

  • Support photo and video production, including management and editing

  • Recommend staff engagement and wellness activities

5. Reporting

  • Track traffic and engagement on SharePoint, MS Streams, CLA

  • Compile reports for EXCO and QBRs

  • Maintain expense reports for initiatives
