ROLE SUMMARY:
Cummins Inc. is looking for a talented Apprentice – Engine Workshop Technician to join the team, supporting Service Operations in Steelpoort, Limpopo, within the Distribution Business Segment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Workshop Operations: Assist with general activities to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Clean, inspect, and disassemble components to support a safe, organized environment.

Learn Repair Techniques: Understand Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follow procedures for basic repairs.
-
Documentation: Assist with accurate record-keeping (work completed forms, timesheets, etc.).
-
Training & Development: Complete training aligned with technical and business requirements.
-
Tool Maintenance: Ensure proper use and care of tools and workshop equipment.

Health & Safety: Follow Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
-
Reporting: Proactively report issues/incidents to supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
