About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality English Home Language instruction at FET level (Grades 10–12)

Manage high school academic administration and discipline

Inspire, motivate and challenge students with engaging and dynamic teaching

Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment

Build constructive relationships with learners, parents, and colleagues

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) and PGCE or B.Ed (FET Phase – English specialisation)

IEB English FET experience is essential

SACE Registration (compulsory)

Police Clearance (compulsory)

2–5 years’ FET Teaching Experience (with subject specialisation)

Competency in computer and digital literacy

Valid First Aid certification
