Job Overview:
Reddford House Blue Hills is looking for a dedicated English & History Teacher to join their College phase team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching both English and History, along with the ability to inspire and engage students in these subjects. This position will report directly to the Head of School and offers a permanent contract within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning:

Teach English and History to students in the College phase.

Develop and implement lesson plans that engage and challenge students.

Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Evaluate and assess student progress regularly.

Curriculum & Assessment:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.

Prepare students for examinations and assessments.

Maintain accurate records of student performance and development.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with other educators, staff, and parents to ensure the success of the students.

Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
-
A relevant degree or teaching qualification.
-
SACE registration.
-

Experience:
-
Experience in teaching English and History, ideally at the high school/College level.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for teaching and fostering a love of learning in students.
