Penryn is seeking to appoint an English Teacher with a passion for education and a commitment to stimulating higher-order thinking among scholars. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, energetic, innovative, and a collaborative team player.
Commencement Date: 1 January 2026
Key Requirements and Experience:

Relevant professional teaching qualifications in GET and FET phases

SACE registration with valid clearance certificates
-
Highly proficient in spoken and written English

Knowledge and experience of the IEB curriculum (GET and FET)

IEB marking and moderation experience (advantageous)
-
Proven experience in curriculum planning, development, and assessment
-
Strong classroom management, organisational, administrative, and communication skills

Proficient use and integration of technology in the classroom

Computer literacy (Google Suite and Microsoft Office)

Willingness to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme

Excellent interpersonal skills with scholars, staff, and parents

Alignment with the Christian ethos and holistic values of Penryn
