Hold an appropriate teaching qualification – Degree with majors in English and Literature plus a PGDE/PGCE.
Have at least 3 years of IEB English Primary (Home) Language teaching experience.
Preferably have Further Studies English / A-Level Literature in English teaching experience.
Demonstrate working knowledge of IEB SAGs, CAMs, and CAPS.
Show enthusiasm and understanding for curriculum innovation.
Be well-versed in teaching all genres of Literature in English.
Have a passion for reading and appreciation of IEB core competencies.
Be able to create new teaching materials, including audio and visual resources.
Be digitally competent and able to communicate effectively.
Work well as a team leader/player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Be enthusiastic and prepared to actively participate in the extra-mural programme.
Have a clear understanding and acceptance of independent schooling practices.
