Position Overview:
Pinnacle College Linden seeks a passionate FAL Afrikaans GET and FET Teacher for Grades 8-12, starting January 2026. The role requires an individual who is committed to delivering high-quality education in the GET and FET phases, guiding students towards academic success and preparing them for life after graduation.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Academic Delivery: Plan, organize, and implement instructional programs that motivate and inspire students.

Student Development: Foster student academic potential and personal growth.

Communication & Collaboration: Develop ongoing partnerships with colleagues, parents, and the community.

School Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Pinnacle College with professionalism and pride.

Administration & Reporting: Manage academic assessments, report on student progress, and maintain records.
Qualifications & Experience:

A degree (NQF level 7) and PGCE or B. Education (FET) specializing in the subjects to be taught.

SACE certification and a police clearance are required.
-
2-5 years teaching experience in the GET and FET phases.
-
Specialist subject teaching experience (Afrikaans FAL).
-
Computer and digital literacy skills are essential.

IEB experience is advantageous.
