Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled educator to teach English and History in the FET Phase. You will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, support student development, and contribute to the school’s positive academic culture.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for FET-level English and History
-
Foster critical thinking, curiosity, and independence in students

Assess and report on student progress and development
-
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with the school’s code of conduct

Collaborate with colleagues and engage constructively with parents/guardians

Represent the school’s values and uphold professionalism

Participate in school events, extracurriculars, and community involvement

Maintain high health, safety, and academic standards
Minimum Requirements:

Degree (NQF Level 7) + PGCE or B.Ed. (FET Phase) with specialisation in English and History

SACE registration (compulsory)

Valid Police Clearance

2–5 years teaching experience (in FET Phase)

Computer and digital literacy

First Aid certification (preferred)
