🛠️ Duties and Responsibilities
1. Academic Delivery

Deliver future-focused education to inspire, motivate, and challenge students

Foster individual talents and build foundational skills in reading, literacy, and numeracy
2. Academic Assessment & Reporting

Assess and report on student progress regularly

Develop tailored strategies for individual student growth and learning
3. Student Behaviour Management

Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment

Implement behaviour management strategies that align with school values
4. School Brand Ambassadorship

Represent the school positively in interactions with colleagues, parents, and the community

Build and maintain constructive partnerships within the learning community
5. Administrative & Health & Safety Responsibilities

Undertake administrative duties related to teaching and student management

Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
✅ Qualifications & Experience
-
Essential Qualifications:
-
An undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a B. Education (Foundation Phase) (NQF Level 6)

A PGCE if the degree is deemed suitable, particularly if it is in Psychology
-
SACE certification and a police clearance
-

Experience:
-
2-5 years of teaching experience in the Foundation Phase

Proficiency in computer and digital literacy

First Aid certification
