Position Overview:
The Vine School, an independent Christian primary school, is seeking a qualified Foundation Phase teacher for a fixed-term contract from 1 January to 31 December 2026. The successful candidate will teach according to Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education, contribute to character formation, and create a positive, engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach according to Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education.

Maintain an optimal classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.

Support proactive character development in students.

Utilize a range of resources, including poetry, art, and classical music.
Ideal Candidate:

A relevant teaching qualification and SACE registration.

Strong IT skills and the ability to teach a variety of subjects (advantageous).

A testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

High emotional intelligence (EQ) and strong relational skills.

Ability to self-manage and exercise quiet authority, setting high standards for all students.

A strong attention to detail and an empathetic approach to teaching.
