About The Ridge School:

The school is looking to appoint an exceptional Foundation Phase Teacher to join their team in this permanent position starting in January 2026.
Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning: Deliver innovative, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons tailored to the developmental needs of young boys.

Differentiated Teaching: Ensure that the learning needs of all students are met through varied instructional strategies.

Pastoral Care: Take responsibility for the academic and personal development of your students, providing support and interventions where needed.

Extra-Curricular Engagement: Demonstrate a genuine commitment to the school’s extra-mural programme, encouraging holistic growth in students.

Administration & Reporting: Maintain excellent administrative skills, including lesson planning, assessment, and reporting.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure a cohesive, dynamic teaching environment.

Parent Communication: Build strong, positive relationships with parents to support the academic and personal growth of their children.
Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 3+ years teaching in the Foundation Phase.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution.

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
-
SACE Registration.

Core Competencies:

Ability to create a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment.

Understanding of child development and the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual needs.

A strong commitment to the school’s ethos and values, particularly in the context of boys’ education.
