Position Overview
Bellavista School is seeking an experienced, full-time Intermediate/Senior Phase Educator to join its team. This on-site role is ideal for an educator passionate about inclusive education and committed to pursuing every learner’s best potential within a dynamic, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a class teacher for Grades 4–7
-
Mediate learning with a focus on inclusive and remedial education practices
-
Plan and deliver instruction across a diverse range of subjects

Integrate AI and multimedia tools into teaching
-
Work collaboratively as part of a high-functioning team
Ideal Candidate Profile
-
Holds an educational teaching qualification and a postgraduate qualification in inclusive or remedial education; OR
-
Holds an undergraduate degree and postgraduate qualification, preferably in inclusive/remedial education
-
6–10 years teaching experience, ideally in a remedial school environment
-
Able to manage multiple priorities with exceptional organisation and attention to detail
-
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and accountability
-
Reflective, resilient, dependable, and solution-oriented
-
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Advantageous Skills & Experience
-
Training/experience in cognitive education, dyslexia, or dyscalculia
-
Competence in Google Workspace
-
Multilingual, with ability to teach isiZulu
