Kainon School invites applications for a Full-Time Teaching Intern position for 2026. This opportunity is ideal for an aspiring teacher currently pursuing a B.Ed or PGCE and seeking to gain practical school-based experience while completing their studies.
Key Responsibilities

Support teachers inside and outside the classroom

Demonstrate a genuine love for working with primary school children

Assist with extra-mural activities, sports, school events, and outings

Show initiative, reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Maintain strong academic performance and pass all modules

Contribute to the daily functioning of the school as required
Competencies & Requirements

Must be currently enrolled with an accredited teaching institution (B.Ed or PGCE)

Willing to support and uphold the Christian ethos and school values
-
Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with students, staff, and parents
-
Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Good organisational and administrative abilities

Computer literacy is essential

Must have own reliable transport

Must obtain a Police Clearance before appointment
