About the Role
St Mary’s DSG Kloof is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with initiative and educational vision to join our SMART Centre, which provides remedial support from Grade R to Grade 7.
Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelor of Education specialising in the Primary School Phases
-
A recognised qualification in Remedial Education
-
At least 5 years’ experience in Foundation and Primary School teaching and remedial support
-
Experience interpreting Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Speech & Language reports
-
Familiarity with remedial assessment procedures, development of Individual Learning Programmes (ILPs), and report writing
-
Ability to support class teachers with inclusive education practices and task differentiation
-
Knowledge of barriers to learning and developmental challenges
-
Current SACE registration
