About the Bursary:
Garden Route District Municipality (GRDM) invites suitably qualified learners and students to apply for financial assistance towards further studies for the 2026 academic year. This bursary programme supports:

Current Grade 12 learners
-
Matriculants who have already passed Grade 12
-
Students enrolled at accredited tertiary or TVET institutions
The aim is to promote equitable access to higher education for students whose parents permanently reside within the Garden Route municipal area.
Note: Only full-time studies at SAQA-accredited tertiary institutions and TVET colleges will be considered. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and academic potential.

Certified copy of Grade 12 results or equivalent qualification

Latest academic record (if already studying)

Certified copy of South African ID

Affidavit of parents’ combined income

Proof of residential address (e.g. municipal account)
